In 2013, Indian business tycoon, investor, and philanthropist Azim Premji (Premji), Chairman of the Azim Premji Foundation (APF), donated 12% of his stake in Wipro Ltd. – amounting to more than US$ 2.2 billion – toward education-focused activities.
